Paige Mills is egy 230 ezer követővel rendelkező nővér, akinek a legnagyobb szenvedélye a súlyemelés.

Paige legalább napi 2 órát tölt edzőteremben és természetesen az étkezésére is gondosan odafigyel. 21 évesen kezdett el nővérként dolgozni, ugyanis a legnagyobb célja az volt, hogy mások tudjon segíteni. Elmondása szerint elég elfoglalt és nagyon sok idejét leköti a munka, de heti 6 napot mindig rászán az edzésre. A férfiak teljesen ledöbbenek amikor meglátják, hogy milyen súlyokat emelget. 155 kilóval guggol és 152 kilót tud felemelni.

Things that changed the game for me in my training, Part 1. INTENSITY I didn’t have a Coach or personal trainer until I already had a 300kg+ total. So I had no one telling me I was doing it wrong, but equally importantly, what I was doing right. I’d heard people say you shouldn’t lift heavy until you’ve nailed technique. So one day, around 6 months into my gym attendeeism which consisted exclusively of high rep hypertrophy, (because that’s all I thought there was), I was doing cable rows at like RPE waste-of-my-fucking-time. And I decided I didn’t want to be a beginner anymore. And that the gym is supposed to be hard. And there’s a reason everything in this room is so fucking heavy. From then on I had a rule that the second last rep of every exercise will be difficult to complete, and the last rep will be impossible to complete. Today I understand what progressive overload is and I use it methodically to get strong, but at the time this is what I needed. Just hard work. Try it. LMK what you think 😏
